Inventory Coordinator/Purchasing $15-$17hr, DOE, FT, M-F
Seeking an upbeat, positive, self-motivated, and ambitious Full Time Inventory/Materials Coordinator in Tucson, AZ. Potential candidates should have 1-3 years experience working in a Purchasing, Materials Procurement, and Inventory Management function. Hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. Compensation is $15/hr-$17/hr, depending on experience. Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, Disability, and much more.

The Inventory/Materials Coordinator will be responsible for preparing requisitions and processing purchase orders, vendor management, inventory management, and special projects.





Requirements:

Job Requirements:
-Computer literacy is required, including experience with Microsoft Office suite (including MS Excel and MS Word)

-Procure materials, components and equipment at a favorable cost, consistent with quality and schedule

-Identify potential suppliers that drive customer satisfaction and cost benefit

-Must have the ability to effectively negotiate with vendors and build positive business relationships

-Ability to research and find new sourcing opportunities, track cost reductions and report company savings

-Ability to forecast company needs with regards to equipment and supplies

-Must have experience with inventory management , stock movement, cycle counting, and reconciliation

-Successful candidate will be extremely detail-oriented with a high level of organizational skills

-Must have effective communication, problem solving, and analytical skills

-Must exhibit a strong sense of urgency

-Must be able to multi-task and follow-through with multiple projects

-Ability to effectively work independently or within a department environment

-Ability to interface with top management

-Must have a willingness to learn new skills and work within a changing, dynamic environment.

-Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills are also a must in this position.
